SUMMERCAMP

Every summer, the region’s two UNESCO MAB Biosphere Reserves, the Italian Julian Alps and the Miramare, co-operate in organising a Summer Camp for young people residing within in these unique areas.

The underlying theme is the cornerstone of the MAB programme, i.e. sustainability covering all levels of human development, focusing above all on the bond that Man has succeeded in developing with his own local area.
The initiative is aimed at young people aged between 15 and 18, who will carry out various activities within the two Reserves. This is an excellent opportunity for them to discover their own area, to get to know directly the parties involved in its management, but also to have fun, thanks to a series of activities and attractions organised by the two protected areas.
